Ahead of this weekend’s pay-per-view, WWE has already announced the location for next year’s Survivor Series.
Survivor Series 2018 will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on November 18th. As is the case with all WWE “big four” PPVs, the arena will host an NXT TakeOver special on the Saturday before Survivor Series and Raw and SmackDown in the days after the show.
WWE noted that ticket information for all four events will be made available in early 2018.
This will be the first time California has ever hosted a Survivor Series. It will also be the first time an NXT TakeOver event has taken place on the west coast. Drew McIntyre dropped a hint about the news at NXT’s house show in Riverside, California last Saturday, mentioning that there’s never been a TakeOver out west in his promo after the main event.
While no further details have been revealed about next year’s Survivor Series, the PPV has had a Raw vs. SmackDown theme over the last two years.
